Yea, I really think it is an early one because of the patent issued 1938/39 for the ice hardening process and the end of WWII when German patents meant nothing to the rest of the world. Why mark a product patented when it no longer gave you any protection? Also how many straight razors, never mind the stainless steel variety, would be made during wartime for civilian consumption.
