Gentlemen,
This came in today.
Another George Brittain anchor and cross razor.
19/16 at its widest point.
Near wedge, so quite heavy.
It ‘ll need some work for sure.

Very nice project. Love to see photos when you are done. If careful you may be able to save scales.
Thats a big chunk of steel you got there. Nice project razor for sure.
I wouldn't even know where to begin on something like this. Good Luck!
Sweet mother of steel.!
Save those scales, too.
Love the size of the razor.
I would do my darndest to keep it as original as possible.
Good luck with the project.

What a beauty! A great project!
This GB anchor stamp monster is one of my all time must haves.
Congrats!
Thank you kind gentlemen!
Yes, I will try to save the scales too.
They seem to be wood, not horn.
We’ll see. I’m looking forward to it already.
Gentlemen,
This blade moved on to a fellow forum member.
If he so wishes, he can continue the topic.
Thanks.

Yeh, that thing needs someone with experience and a belt-grinder with a (WHAT?) 20 inch wheel? :rofl2:
Not me either.
Looking forward to the outcome.
