Thread: Miniature Straight razor.

I am pretty sure this one IS a corn razor, but someone can correct me if I am wrong!

Krusius Bros. Blade is about 1" long. The tang is really interesting in that it has a "pad" rather than a tail.

There IS hone wear on this blade, which I also find interesting. Uneven (though it more or less follows the spine)... but hone wear none the less.

I have a Joseph Rodgers & Sons in Ivory. I have to look but I have another one, I believe it is a Henckels. I have a coffin for it comparing it to a Boker coffin.

I really dont think these small razors were meant for nose and ear, most of these small razor were designed for woman/ corn razors. barbers singed nose and ear hairs with singeing tapers, a wick covered with wax.

Probably not a tourist keepsake, looks like Burette made a couple of small razor dedicated for Ladies and Ladies/corn. assuming thats what you have there Jamie.
