Looks very nice. The bone has a very nice shape.
Preshaped scales on Amazon?
Nice razors, they look good all ready to hone.
That 49 will take a lovely edge and shave like a dream.
Who is the maker of the frameback?
Nice work for pre made scales. If i had to find something to bitch about ... Try to get you pins aproximately the same distance from each end. Its not a big deal but something to think about next time. As long as the blades center and close with enough tightness is the main thing. All in all a nice job. Now hone em up. :tu
Those are Outstanding! Very nice!
I wouldn't say you screwed up. We all start with little oddities in our scales. Most the time the guy who makes his first scales, not buys them, will have some supper thick clunky scales. What you did looks great for buying scales not made for the blades. I was just trying to help you to refine from what you have done or you might not have known this little tidbit.
As long as the blade isn't hanging out the bottom and the edge is inside by a little your good. Stuffed scales work too. Its all a mater of taste. Some want the tip of the blade as close to the wedge as possible and others like a little space. You did well. Wait u til you have made 20 or 30 sets of scales made just for blades you own. Then you will always find an issue you wish you would have fixed. Then a couple years later you might tear it down and fix it. Its all part of the fun. Enjoy.
