    Great find. Very versatile hone. I use mine as the secondary hone to my bevel setter.

    The feedback I get from it, really lets me know if the bevel is completely set.

    Playing with different honing solutions, it can create an even more refined edge.

    These types of Arks are new to me- never tried one.
    This was very lightly lapped on 220 Aluminum oxide paper easily.
    It seems incredibly smooth and not at all was I was expecting.
    How do you normally treat/dress this type? Will a coarse dressing make it more aggressive?
    I know they are known for their consistent grain and versatility.

    I lapped mine to 600, then burnished them with a wood chisel, real well.

    I actually have a non labeled white, and butterscotch Washita.

    Butterscotch is much finer, and partially translucent.
