Default 3 for $10 Local finds #3 - Wade and Butcher

Two weeks ago we found an antique shop that sold us 4 straight razors for $10. Upon cleaning we found that one, a W&B was cracked. So we got 3 for $10 and a set of W&B pressed horn scales. This is the third of the three, a Wade and Butcher. The other two in the purchase are posted under The Gallery forum.

Other than cleaning this baby up a little (maybe more than a little) I just homed it up. This straight shaves like a dream, nice and smooth. Like all of my blades since this past December the last hone to hit the blade was a C12k. Soon all of my blades will be polished on that hone, except for CarrieM's straights. She feels the C12k makes the blades too sharp for her to shave her legs with and is satisfied finishing on a coticule, water only.

Pics for all three of these straights were taken by JrJoeD, thanks Jr.
