I'm loving these big blades, thanks for sharing the pictures of such amazing razors! Big razors have fascinated me from day one, they have a quality all their own. :medvl:
I favor wider blades, but the largest one that I use constantly now is my Busch Worldmaster in 7/8s, rescaled in olivewood with a thick nickel spacer. Just an amazing shaver, smooth as a wedge but LOUD. It even edged out the vintage 6/8ths Le Grelot I got back in January as my new favorite:

I shave with my 9/8 at least one or two times a week.
8910 W Greaves Sons Fencing Foils 9/8 C1835
I shave with my 8/8 Chandler damascus at least once or twice a week.
I've got to get pics of that one.....
I don't shave with them at all lately
I'm to busy test shaving other razors
my favorites are, in order
7/8 Frederick Reynolds hollow worked back spike custom horn scales
17/16 W&B FBU wedge with original scales
8/8 Friodur (movin up the rotation)
6/8 Frederick Reynolds faux framback
i love the softer Sheffield steel but lately I'm shaving with German stuff, and fresh of the hone to boot
no buttery feel there !!!!!
WOW nice battelaxes... you know, this thread should be in the "Inch-High" razor club... or some other catchy name.
One of my John Barbers - only 13/16 wide but 26/8 of cutting edge :p :D
Here is my big boy (A "For Barber's Use" 8/8 John Elliot chopper dressed for dinner in custom resin scales with a monster mosaic pin):

I shave with it less these days but I use it about every other month.
