    Default eBay Escher (7" x 1.6" x .7")

I'm excited. While I Was in the chat room last week, someone mentioned an Escher on eBay that was only at about $30 if I remember right and only half an hour to go. The pictures did not include the reverse side of the hone though, and the top half showed what looked like damage near one end. But I didn't have time to get more photos from the seller and thought even if it is damaged I will only bid what I think I can get back out of it (or close)

So I set a snipe for $60 or so, and a day or two later I remembered the Escher, checked my email, and discovered I won! Cool! Then I hoped for a week that I did not waste my money.......

    Here are the eBay photos:

The package arrived this afternoon. Looking good so far....

Yay! No cracks, severe damage, or severe wear! The hone was a little dished out though.

So I lapped it. On DMT600 and DMT1200 for about half an hour - then finishing on sandpaper as my DMTs are actually a little shorter than the hone itself. Isn't she purdy?

I look forward to many happy days of finishing touches with this one. I hope it lives up to its name.

Oh yeah, the hour of water exposure loosened the label and I lost some bits, including off the center. Oh well. She's still pretty. And she's mine, all mine, muahahahahaha
