    So I found this for $5 on the bay. I had never heard of the brand, and a google search turned up exactly 2 results, both related to chemistry, so I'm guessing its not what I want.

    Any ideas?

    Typcilly medical/lab razors (microtomes) are hollow on one side and flat on the other. I cannot tell if that is the case with yours. Regardless, if the steel is good you can make a microtome shave. I know Jimmy has with a Puma microtome, and I have with a SRD microtome. I found honing my microtome to be an interesting challenge (which is why I got it in the first place).
