My favorite looking razor of all time.....so far
Ok, I'm a bit proud of this razor. BUT, I know none of you will mind the slew of pictures I'm going to post of it here. I have never honed this razor. Maybe I will in my lifetime, maybe I won't. I'm fine with it as is, just looking at it and holding it gives me enjoyment.
Why do I like it so much? I'm sure there are others around like it, but I personally haven't seen any others. This condition, save for a light hand rubbed polishing with a cloth and some Flitz is as found. The curves, my friends, the curves. A B_Worth & Sons 6/8 smiling swayback thumbnotched humpback tang with the best feeling file cut jimps on the underside I've ever felt on a razor. The jimps are toothy in the best of ways. They grip your thumb like no other. It's as if the tang sticks to your thumb. A fine Sheffield razor in all its glory. Randy Tuttle has had the pleasure of seeing it first hand and admitted that he was very jealous.
Seriously, for me, aesthetically, Fillys, Wonderedges, Reapers, even my WB Barbers Use Chopper lack something in comparison to this razor. Enough of my yappin; here it is:

Finally....
Thanks for letting me share. To me it's a work of art.
****If someone can put at least a few of the pics in the Wiki razor database I'd appreciate it. I have great difficulty logging into that area.

Hey it's bent. I'd send it back ...... or if you want I'll take it off your hands 'cause I'm a nice guy . Kidding aside Chris, a lovely piece. I'm a sucker for a smiling blade too.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Holy crap, no seriously, that's some badass steel.
One Gentleman is going to stay awfully happy using that razor.
Enjoy, my friend.

[QUOTE=JimmyHAD;501057]Hey it's bent. I'd send it back ......
Chris,
I'm with Jimmy on this -- while it looks pretty and all, it is bent and I'm sure in its present condition any attempt to shave with it will prove bitterly disappointing. Have you tried smacking it on an anvil? Or better yet, when you get your forge set up get it real, real red, kinda pinkish - now that's technical talk I know, but you can practice on a few of your other razors, then grab it with a coupla pair of pliers and twist it a might. That ought to set it straight.
Or not That is one handsome razor!!
