    Default Was it the devil or BeBerlin that made me do it ?

    Robin posted this review of his lovely Wacker ..... razor that is ... here and reading it stimulated me to go to John Crowley's Shaving Shop. The rest is history. So I don't know whether it was the devil made me do it or Robin's review but I am now patiently waiting for the postal service to knock on my door with these beautiful 6/8 quarter hollows and my first Heribert Wacker razors.

    Edit, the title should read the devil OR not of

    Jimmy: I have a pair just like them, that I bought from John before Christmas. They are great shavers, so you have something good to look forward to.

    Excellent. Wacker of Borg, you will be Solingenfied and all that.

    I've read some rather favourable reviews of the ones you got yourself there, Jimmy. Just wait what happens once Herr Wacker runs out of blanks or otherwise goes out of business. A Chronik will pale in the light of the truckload of gold these razors will bring you.

    Ummmm... Enough rambling, on with the food fair. Bulgarian wines can actually be quite good...

    I'm sure it was Robin. He's also the reason that a Wacker is next on my list.
