    Default My New Vintage Boker

I just got this in the mail today after having won it off the bay. It's going to be going out the door to get in line for a Max Makeover--I think it's got some real potential. Thought I would share some pics since we all like razor pictures, right?

I want to fit it up with some custom scales and tang work. Sacrilegious, I know, to the vintage purists but I know it will come out awesome!

Max is da bomb alright. The 1056 is one of my favorite Bokers. Mine has the black fancy scales. I've never seen one with the enclosed tang and those scales. I know Max will surpass the originals.

I take it then its also a great shaver? (good steel, takes a good edge, etc?) Aesthetics aside, I had heard good things about the old bokers (new ones as well), and I think I'm really going to like the size of the razor.

That's a beaut! It's your decision and all, but I wouldn't let go of those scales, myself.

If you're just planning on getting rid of 'em, I'll gladly take them off your hands. The matching tang cover is awesome, too.

But, to each their own. Nice score, love the worked spine. Can't wait to see what Max does!
