For Christmas my wife got me some shave supplies...isn't she great! She wanted to give me a taste of the goodstuff (something that wasn't from walmart).

Some lemon scented shave cream from Art of Shaving. I make uberlather with it and it smells wonderful and I only use about a teaspoon at a time. Also a Tweezerman Badger brush. I really like it though I can see what seems to be the common complaint. It doesn't have much "backbone" to it. But it really feels good on the face.

My parents also sent me some money for a present and I found this razor in an antique shop. I looked it up and I believe its a Cattaragus. There is no stamp on the spine but I found other razors with "Galvanic" on the blade.

Here is a close-up of the blade. I shaved with it a couple of days ago and it shaves really nice. It's the lightest razor I have (out of the three).

I also purchased this Belgian Coticule off of ebay for about $45, it measures about 2 X 4". I have a slurry stone coming in the next week or so off of the classifieds on SRP. I tried to lap it but it still needs some on the ends of the stone, they kind of slope down on the ends. I couldn't find 220 grit wet/dry sandpaper so I purchased 320 grit and it seems to be going slow.

Well that's about it. Money's been so tight lately that it was nice to splurge a little.
