Ok, so more antique store shopping this weekend. Here they are...

Sorry for the crappy photos of the Clauss. The lady at the antique store said the Clauss scales were ivory. I don't know how to tell the difference, though. Anyway the price was low enough, so I took a chance. Looks like it should hone up ok. The "Karbono" was basically one of those buy both and get a discount deals... Both blades look good to me. Darn SRP and your RAD too...:)

Clauss razors make great shavers. I've not had a SRD razor (only a SRD microtome), but I've heard good things about their blades.

the clauss scales are likely bone. take a magnifier and look for pores, if you see them it's bone, if there are no pores it's either ivory or celluloid. a hot pin will tell them apart.
