    Default Got a couple more...

    Ok, so more antique store shopping this weekend. Here they are...

    Sorry for the crappy photos of the Clauss. The lady at the antique store said the Clauss scales were ivory. I don't know how to tell the difference, though. Anyway the price was low enough, so I took a chance. Looks like it should hone up ok. The "Karbono" was basically one of those buy both and get a discount deals... Both blades look good to me. Darn SRP and your RAD too...

    Clauss razors make great shavers. I've not had a SRD razor (only a SRD microtome), but I've heard good things about their blades.

    looking good.
    the clauss scales are likely bone. take a magnifier and look for pores, if you see them it's bone, if there are no pores it's either ivory or celluloid. a hot pin will tell them apart.
