Thread: A Black Smith & a Fluid Steel

It's been a while since I've posted some new razors but I needed the time to hone those I had.
Last weekend I found 2 that I just couldn't pass up
First the Genco Fluid Steel it was in an out of the way place and I missed it looking through the case the first time. It wasn't in very good shape (alot of pitting & corrossion) but it is starting to take shape quite well.

A S.R Droescher 5/8ths Black Smith (with it's coffin) in excellent shape! I had seen this one before but they wanted way too much for it. I was surprised to see it again so I made an offer and they accepted it (WOO HOO!). All I have done to it is polish & hone. Guess which razor is getting used in the morning.







I do have 2 more in the works a JA Henkels and another Genco Hopefully they wll be worthy to post soon.

Gorgeous razors, let us know how the genco shaves. I have a Genco Next that needs to be honed before I can use it, but I'm wondering how they shave.
