Escher
I picked this up at an antique shop. What would you estimate is the worth.
I will not be letting this go.
The stone measures 7" x 1 1/2" and I was ecstatic.
Thank you
Phil

I would say it is worth about six dollars USD.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

If you're not letting her go, why would you care what she's worth?
Great snag. They are very nice hones.

If I told you what I payed for the same size Y/G I'd have to kill ya. LOL. That is a great snag whatever you paid for it. They ain't making anymore of those. I have never seen one with the other end label saying 'guaranteed soft'. That is super cool. A great finishing hone IME.
EDIT; If you have some clear nail polish it will protect the end labels. I use some stuff by Krylon called Preserve It for the big label. You find it in art supply stores and spray on.Last edited by JimmyHAD; 04-12-2010 at 02:57 AM. Reason: more info

Now, I need to figure out how to use it without destroying the labels.

Yeah, they saw you coming. You might be able to re-sell it at a small loss if you're lucky.
Jimmy might even help you out.
