So I was out running errands yesterday and came across an antique shop that I hadn't yet visited. I decided to stop in, thinking they probably wouldn't have much. I came across this clean 8/8 W&B For Barbers Use. It looks to be half to 3/4 hollow, horn scales, lead wedge, and a really nice blade. There's no pitting, almost no staining, and just a bit of light rust on the front side of the tail. The scales are faintly inscribed "Jacobs" with the number "908" on the back side. The blade is still sharp enough to pop arm hairs. I gave $75 for it, but I think it to be a fair price for such a nice razor. I thinking of shining it up with some Maas, honing it, and leaving it in vintage condition. I'm feeling pretty fortunate to have found such a cool razor in this condition. I thought all the good ones had already been snatch up!
