Default 5 new ones this month!

It's been a pretty nice month. I broke one of my cardinal rules and ended up buying five razors this month instead of just one a month

    1) Frederick Reynolds 7/8.
Check out the bevel....ouch, this one took a while to get into shape.

    2) C-Mon Blackie 5/8 (Monkhouse version)
Next month, I'm going to do a tutorial on how to strip and reblue this guy...stay tuned.

    3) Clauss 5/8 in real ivory.
Got this one by trading a couple fountain pens...check out the translucence on the ivory scales!

    4) Providence Cutlery Co., Providence RI. 5/8
Bad photo...an American razor with a very French appearance...smooth shaver.

    5) Boker Warranted 5/8
This razor has tons of features...jimps, thumb notch, shoulderless, French Point, etching, inlayed scales. Only thing it doesn't do is flush my toilet.

What a great score..! How you enjoy them..!

I really like that Boker. That shoulderless look and those scales look sweet!

You sure scored some nice ones! The Clauss and Boker are absolutely beautiful, and all look to be great shavers. How did you get that W&B bevel set? Looks like it may have taken hours!

Yeah I like that Boker also. I have one in fairly good condition. Few months ago There was a guy on eBay who put 2 of them in pristine condition up for auction. Surprised me that they sold for very little. Sorry I let them slip away.

To me that makes it even better! I/we really get a kick out of finding local treasures. You found a great lot.

    Aren't local finds just GREAT?!
