Default These came with the Henckels

This is the balance of the stuff I got with the box of henckels from my barber.

2 Dovo Sculptors 3/8", came with guarantee cards with #'s 9 digits apart and wax wrappers. Blue plastic coffins, and Fritz Bracht written on everything. The one with the oxidized scales had a major frown that I worked out easier than I thought was possible and shaves pretty well. The other appears unused.

A Faultless Razor marked F.A. Koch & Co. Made in Germany. It had a double frown, a small one about a third of the way from both ends. Normal X strokes on #1000 have just about eliminated these. Blade still measures 5/8". Who ever hacked these edges up only got hold of these two.

An Adoration Deluxe by Giesen & Forsthoff 5/8". The scales and bolsters were pretty gunked up, but cleaned up well. The blade was clean other than a "rainbow" effect on toe end. This stain will not budge with metal polish. It appears to be a film and not from heat. A trip to the 12K has this girl shaving well.

A Filarmonica 14 that looks unused. My eyes got big when this one came out. the only regret is the color of the scales. I stroped this on newspaper before the test shave. The shave was not too bad. I don't trust myself with this razor on the hone yet.

A 4"x2" Coticule in the box. The ink stamp is pretty clear in the right light. Looks to have seen little use as well.

A Swatty barber hone. If you know it said swatty you can still make it out. This puppy has seen use.

A 6"x2" Carborundum hone in tatered oarnge box. I took a few strokes on this and it appears to be dual grit. Both sides feel the same to the touch but a razor gives a gritty feedback on one side and slides like a finisher on the other. Half the end label on the box is gone with the remaining saying sharpening and extra fine. The gold label on the hone has no writing left.

I have casually looked for razors in the wild with no sucess. 9 razors and 3 hones just fell in my lap. I paid a fair enough price so I can sleep at night, but I feel I got good value for my money. Make sure your barber knows you shave straight.
