Older Sheffield "warranted" razor

I suspect that it is no older than the 1960's. I rec'd this razor w/ a razor box that I bought off of ebay. I applied some Simichrome to it but I suspect that only a buffer would be able to remove all of the rust. There appears to be no rust on the edge and it also appears to be a wedge. I'm guessing that it is a generic razor that was included w/ my shave box that had other implements included that were marked "french ivory" (faux ivory) that are undoubtedly the same mat'l the scales were made of. The scales were thin & cracked, beyond repair, so I removed them as a safety measure as they were exhibiting splintering. It is marked "The Princes Own". Anybody ever heard of it? It is no big deal for me really as I entered the auction solely for the razor box & the razor was not even mentioned in the ad.
