Attachment 51959This was given to me by my Uncle yesterday. It belonged to my Great Grandfather, who was a barber all his life. He lived from 1871-1951. It is a Utica Knife Comp. Red point Razor. My Uncle also has his Barber's Cabinet, a little countertop model, that he will be giving me in the near future. The Box came with the razor, but doesn't match it. I am also attaching a pic of GreatGrandfather and his wife. You can see he was quite dapper.

Pictures are worth a thousand words and it is gratifying to know that there are still some younger folks around who know how to attach value to the past.

Neat post! It's interesting to put a face to the antique razor. This man was one of the many forefathers of our shaving generation. Do you know the year of the photo?
I really like that photo of your great grandparents. Both of them have a special gleam in their eyes and a smirk on their faces. They looked like very happy people.
