Bokers are some of my favorite shavers.
FWIW --
I started a thread that documents my experience getting rid of a frown (on my first-ever straight razor):

The experience was useful, to me. If you just want to shave with it (instead of learning sharpening technique), send it out to someone else.

thanks cp, i'm gonna leave it to a pro! i've got 2 frowned SR's that i plan on sending out to an SRP member so i may use them in my daily rotation. i'm too much of a newbie to tackle frowned SR's. i'm still working on getting the hang of minor re-honing and re-beveling. the forum members have taught me a lot.
I was sent a link that showed how you can tell what era your Boker is from when I got mine, your looks like the tree (you can tell by the different trees) you have is like mine which would make it around 1935. I sure after reading this someone will know the site, and you can check for your self, but its the different trees they have used that gives you the years.Good luck.
Nice razor and nicer girlfriend! Properly honed, any Boker will be a good shaver. Scales are nice and original.
