Thread: Grandpa's Razor

Here are pictures of my grandfathers razor. I recieved it from my mother last we she got it from my uncle's living estate sale. This Razor is the reason I am on this site. I've been shaving with DE's for years, thinking that Straights were too dangerouse and not for me recieving this razor has changed all of this. How cool would it be to be able to shave with this razor.
I was born in 1970 my Grand Father died in 1955 at that time he was in his mid 90's the razor needs some restoration work and I am looking for some one to do the work any takers? I don't know the first thing about straight razor shaving and or up keep of the razor.

Some information on the razor ,
It's a Hibbard Spencer & Bartlet and it's stamped OVB which I am told stands for "Our Very Best" and it is Swedish Steel that's all I know about it
