You hear that Mr. Anderson?... That is the sound of inevitability... The sound of HAD :roflmao

Haha nice. What kind do you have coming in now?
It's a nice rectangular La Petite Blanche combo which I traded for a couple of my strops. Should be good.
I played with my bout last night. It wasn't really a fair test, being on the full wedge from Hell, but I can certainly see potential. I'll try it with a more sensible razor today if I have time. Maybe unicot style?
I love the lpb. I have two stones from that layer and they are wicked fast on slurry but quite slow on plain water.
I've only been using a coticule to hone my razors and by far the best edges I have experienced.
Be careful - coticule HAD can get dangerous. They are some of the most beautiful natural stones out there and I own far too many. All of them have proven to be great finishers. Have fun!
In some ways the wedge was good to play with and experiment because, even though I had three layers of tape, the bevel was still quite wide, and I could visibly see the changes to the polish as I changed the dilution of my slurry. Very interesting.
Of all the AD's I wanted to avoid, HAD was No. 1. Luckily I have been able to trade for these latest two. I can see SWMBO's patience running out very quickly when the postman delivers a new rock every day.
Which is more dangerous? HAD or SWMBO!
