New to me

Other than the razors, the other bits and bobs are new to me.



The mugs are more for their aesthetic appeal than their practicality.

I go more with the newer scuttles but I do have one identical to the peach/pink one. Those smaller ones are a lot of times meant to just keep your brush warm. Try doing your lather in another bowl and resting the brush ontop of the scuttle (filled with hot/warm water) while you strop and shave. The steam is supposed to keep the brush/lather warm.

I'm in the process of getting a local Potter to make a scuttle for me. I use a giant size coffee cup at present !

Good idea to get some use from the old mugs.

I have the exact same Omega Boar brush, not a bad brush, but i do find that the hollow handles on these brushes tend to crack, as the bristles swell up when they get wet.

You're right. It is quite a nice brush.

If the handle does split, I'll re-handle it in Antler as this one
