I bid on a razor on the bay. Very bad picture but i could tell no damage to the blade. I was also thinking it was a large blade and i could not tell how the scales were. Well i was very surprised to see this when i opened it. A little over 6/8

Wow nice score... I can't read the tang markings very well, who made this beauty?
Very nice and different piece Rene.
Congrats on a really cool find:)
Holy crap. Sweeet.
Stunning...
Very cool! I like the look of both the blade and the scales.
Not that it matters what I think, but I can't help to chime in and say that's one beautiful razor. I'd probably hang that over some doorway for everyone to admire instead of using it. Very nice find.
Wow! How do those scales appear to be constructed?
That's some fancy work on the scales. Congratulations.
Does that say 'OTELLO' on the tang? I had an Anton Wingen that did, and stated 'Anton Wingen' on the reverse. An excellent shaver, but nowhere near as elegant as that. It says exactly what it is on the blade face!
Those are the most elegant and ornate metal scales I have ever seen. Aluminum scales frequently have nice etchings, as do sterling silver and sometimes brass scales, but never colors, IME. Congratulations!
Rene, great grab my friend. Use it in good health!!! I need to stay off the Bay and classifieds for a while.
Very good looking razor and the scales are fantastic. Nice find!!
very beautiful. Love Those scales
Very nice!
Damm !!!!!!!....nice razor.
