    Default Griffon XX #67

Well, this is my first post. I am fairly new to the SRP. I received this razor from my Grandmother when I graduated from college. I had found it in her attic with a set of letters that her father had written during WWII. I have been practicing shaving and honing, with a new Dovo razor, and I am looking forward to the day that I am ready to do the (light) restoration on this razor. The JaNorton thread has been a great resource for me. Can anyone tell me about the history of this razor? I have looked all over the web trying to find History about these razors but have so far been unsuccessful.

Thanks for the reply. I have heard that these are great shavers from my research on SRP and across the web.

    Firstly, welcome to SRP.

Secondly, fine looking shaver, and an heirloom too. Looks like it just needs a light clean at most.

    Enjoy.

    Welcome!!!

I have a few and all have been great shavers.

If you can get Manah's attention, he seems to know something about every razor manufacturer. Since Griffon is so common he should have something.

May your lather be moist and slick, the sweep of your razor sure, and your edge always keen!
