7/8 Frederick Reynolds Prince Alberts
I just scored this razor...I wish that I could say that I found it at a yard sale or an estate sell...Then I would just be a liar. But what I can say is that I really like the etching on the blade, the manufacturers stamp on the tang is deep/clear and it's really clean overall.
The tail is on the shorter/thicker side which would lead me to believe that the razor is earlier than 1890 as listed.
I await it's arrival with open arms and freshly manicured hands. I would buy anything from someone whose hands looks this amazing.

THIS IS A VINTAGE 1890'S FREDRICK REYNOLDS STRAIGHT RAZOR.THE RAZOR IS SHOWING SIGNS OF HAVING BEEN USED AND HAS SOME SCRATCHES AND AGE SPOTS BUT IT IS VERY SOLID WITH NO CHIPS OR DINGS AND WILL CLEAN UP VERY NICELY IT IS ETCHED AS YOU CAN SEE IN PICTURES SILVER WITH STEEL FREDRICK REYNOLDS SHEFFIELD PRINCE ALBERTS ROYAL PATENT RAZOR BUT IT IS SOME WHAT FAINT AND VISIBLE IN CLEAR LIGHTING.THE TANG IS CLEARLY MARKED FR MANUFACTURED BY FREDRICK REYNOLDS SHEFFIELD.THE HANDLE IS CLEAR BUFFALO HORN THERE IS A SMALL PIECE CHIPPED OFF BY REAR BRASS PIN BUT DOES NOT AFFECT THE BLADE IN ANY WAY AND IS CENTERED VERY NICELY TO THE HANDLE. THE RAZOR MEASURES 5-1/2 INCHES LONG AND ABOUT 7/8 OF AN INCH WIDE TOTAL LENGTH WITH HANDLES IS 6-1/4 INCHES LONG
