Default Waterford Crystal Shaving Brush Badger

Cleaning up on the Bay. I got my shaving cream last week, I bought my mug yesterday

and I just won my brush right now. So next up I guess is a strop. What else do I need for my first shave( don't say razor...LOL)?
I can't use after shave or anything heavily scented so all that stuff is out. This is looking promising though.

Is that good or bad in your option. Would you recommend getting it reknotted when buying second hand?

    Thanks

Cool, Cheetah. 500 razors, Silver mug, crystal brush. All you need is a golden styptic and you are set! Just shampoo it and let dry. If the hairs are falling out badly, you might want to reknot. You will eventually get a bigger, modern brush, I predict!

    500 razors
    1 silver mug
    1 crystal brush
1 vintage strop *got a couple in my crosshairs*

    Equals perfect 1st shave.

To tell you the truth I love vintage stuff. If I get a bigger brush I want something with history. Something that's been around for awhile. I feel like there's already too much good stuff floating around to buy new. Vintage has class and undeniable style that you just can't find anymore in my opinion.

Copper bottom pots, a wood rolling pin, a seafoam green Hamilton Milkshake maker, an old washboard with the rippled glass middle and a '65 Mustang Fastback.
All I need are the classics.
