Looks great! How does it shave?

Is that a bit of a "frown" or just the angle of the photo?

I thought it was the angle. The shadow looks flat to me

It's your first razor -- it looks great -- did you buy it shave-ready from someone? Torreys are a great American product, it should last for many years..

I also admired the Formica countertop.

I just got it. It's going off for honing monday, then it'll be in business. Hopefully one of those Torreys with the hard blades that stays sharp forever. Blade has a slight frown that will need corrected.

It's got moderate use but owner took care of it and corrosion is very minimal, scales have a nice vintage look without being beat. It will be my daily driver after a workup.
