OK so how could the razor break if all 3 pins were on the tang hmmmm ? :)

Sorry, not being sarcastic but looks like you may have had a pin too far up the blade.

You cannot straighten a heat treated razor. They often break if you simply drop them.
The tang may/may not share a similar temper,still, it may not take much to break a tang as well.

Biggest problem with old wedges is the tang is often ground asymmetrically & is not actually warped.
In that case, it is far easier to heat & bend the scales to compensate, amongst other techniques.

Hindsight can be a harsh teacher but razors are like buses. Catch the next one.

It's a steel-reinforced epoxy. I became quite familiar with it when I was trying to hold my old Jeep together. :)

So a couple possibilities:

-Can you get someone to laser weld the pieces together? The break is close enough to the heel that you might be able to grind that short piece down and just have a frankenrazor. Maybe ugly, but functional

-as mentioned, would make a nice tiny carving knife

-if all else fails you can build tiny scales and have a unique touch-up razor

I don't know what the bond strength is like but it might work. Looking at the specs it's pretty good. Might be worth a try.

I Don't know how it broke, I Very well could have had the pin to far up the blade?

Heating and bending the scales is ALL I WILL EVER DO FROM NOW ON! :o

I do still have one of the scales. One broke when I was unpinning it. Maybe that was my first "hint" not to mess too much with this razor...

Not sure either? I think I am going to just put the tang on my key chain.
