    Default Too Many Recent Acquisitions!

So I've read that once RAD takes over, sets in and consumes you there's really no stopping it. Below are a few of my recent acquisitions over the past few weeks. I apologize for the somewhat sketchy pictures, as this is my first attempt at razor photography and I think I need another light pointed in my box.

First is a Wacker Antik 15/16 in horn scale. It's a delightful shaver!

My second acquisition was a Hart Steel 7/8 square point, matte finish with red oak scales. I must say, it was honed very nicely by artisan JA and ripped through my beard.

Thirdly was a Dovo Bergischer Lowe 5/8 with horn scales. I typically don't like smaller blades or extra hollow blades but this razor is just wonderful!!

And last, but not least, a Wade & Butcher 8/8 "The Celebrated" with barbers notch. It has had some restoration done to it in the past but still has some minor pitting that I am planning on having taken care of. It is scaled in spalted mango wood.

Needless to say, my face has been getting quite a workout lately as I try to fine tune all of these razors!

    Default Too Many Recent Acquisitions!

Those are some fine looking blades.

If you really have too many acquisitions I will gladly take a donation or 6 to help you get that under control.

After all we try very hard to be a helpful and friendly community.

Veerrrrry nice. I'm sure those will provide a lifetime of shaving and, will eventually lead to a lifetime of debt due to buying more razors

You know I have been pondering the absurd joke/old wives tale lately that shaving with a straight razor will save you money in the long run! My conlusion is that this is just something we shall tell SWMBO!

I bought a bottom of the line Dovo in January. Since then, I shudder at the amount of money I have spent in razors, razor accessories, and materials for restoring razors. It's terrifying...ly awesome.

I'd say the title of your thread is a false premise .... Too Many Recent Acquisitions! .......... no one can have too many razors !

Congrats, you have some really nice pieces there. You are obviously a man of discernment and impeccable taste.
