I agree, but it's for the good cause.
This way I can more easily find all the heathens that need to be expelled :p
I draw the line at cartridge and electric razors though.

as a barber shavettes are more practical and easier to keep sanitized (new blade) every time means always sanitary, so I have a smattering of different shavettes.... i.e. dovo, hess monsieur Charles, dreadnought and blackdragon to mention a few......that being said....I never use them at home and never on myself....it defeats the purpose of wet shaving......LONG LIVE THE STR8 RAZOR!!!

I bought a straight razor on e-bay before I found SRP. Big Mistake. Razor not sharp enough to shave. So I bought a shavette for £5 to try. Been using it a couple of months now as a learning tool. Now that I am starting to improve my technique, I am now looking for a decent quality straight razor. So some people say blasphemy, but a shavette is a cheap learning tool, before you take the plunge and invest good money for a quality straight razor[/I]
Have to agree here! Although I've never owned a shavette, I have spent many years with a Mercur DE. It's a learnig curve to use a horrible business phrase. A b it like using a stick of chalk before you progress to a fountain pen! Sorry!
