Thanked: 0The Much Abused CAPTCHA Implimented Decently on This Site.
Many websites use CAPTCHA for registering users; and often they set the difficulty so high most humans have a very hard time deciphering them. I can scarcely think of anything so annoying; especially considering this is a self-inflicted torture by the website. And also, so useless; as no computer could get close to deciphering even a much more clear cypher.
I am pleased to note the CAPTCHA on this website was set to a reasonable level of difficulty, albeit barely. I was able to get past it with one try.
I did get bamboozeld by the secondary question that came after the CAPTCHA. That is a very rare implimentation that escaped my attention. I'll bet 90% of this sites registrars blow their first attempt on that hitch. Annoyingly, missing that question causes the already entered passwords to disappear and require re-entering. Why do websites inflict that annoyance on their prospective registerents. I can't complain too much in this case, as it was my own fault for missing the 2nd question, even if it was semi-obscure and non-conventional.
