Default Mcaffee site advisor doesn't like sponsers on SRP ???

Whenever I click on a sponser on the SRP site.,Mcafee site advisor gives me a red light warning and says it's a dangerous site. However, when I go to the same site via google page I get the green go ahead ??? I never had this problem up to about a couple of months ago ?

You may have had a software update for your virus protection supplier. Sometimes when you go to a secondary site through the main one you started from it views this as something like a backdoor entry and for some reason it errs on the cautious side and deems the secondary site as suspect giving you the warning not to proceed.
I think there's a way to tag sites you use as being ok but not sure how you would do this.
If it were me I think I'd check with McAfee to see if they can provide you with a solution.

Edit:- just had another thought maybe it's built in to stop you from buying excessive amounts of shaving equipment!!!

Yes, I would say Mcafee are simply being lazy or incompetent and instead of looking for viruses or actual exploits, they flag when they detect a chain of referrals.
Chain of referrals could be used for bad purposes, but could also be used for legitimate purposes like we do - the ad server has to track when an ad was displayed and when it was clicked on. It is a basic accountability to the advertisers done through a third party.

Here's my suggestion- Drop McAfee. Then use Firefox with AdBlock Plus add-on installed. Bye bye, ads.

That's just great - since they pay for the site's existence your suggestions amounts to "bye bye SRP" .

When I order from SRD or another vendor I use the links here to get there. I know that it may cost the vendor a few pennies that way but traffic counts in the big scheme.

Sorry, you're totally right. I just find ads to be extremely annoying... mostly because I design them for a living...

It doesn't cost them more whether you follow the links from here or go directly. However, attributing the referral correctly (i.e. following a link from SRP) means that the advertisers see that SRP is in fact bringing them business and they would be willing to continue supporting it.
If they mistakenly get the impression that the advertising on SRP doesn't benefit them and cancel their ads, everybody would lose.
