I have used third party image hosting (imagebam, photobucket, etc) when I want images in PMs. It would function similarly to what Hart suggested.
The answer is straightforward: because the software does not have such capability. I suspect the reasons why the people who wrote vbulletin have made this choice, but that'd be just speculation and probably too technical.
You can host the images elsewhere including in your albums here on srp and then link to them in your PM.
This is what I do, and it works great! Just remember that if you delete the pictures from your picture album they won't show in your posts anymore.Quote:
