I've been trying to reply to a certain thread and have been getting a message saying that I am forbidden to post a new reply on this server.

Who forbid me?

This is a long-time issue with vBulletin. Specifically, vBulletin seems to "time out" after a certain period when one is logged-in -- it only happens during a longer session, when I might be logged-in and reading a lot of posts, and when/if I choose to reply to one, WHAM! I get the "forbidden to post" message. My solution is, when I log-in, to check the "Remember Me?" box (it's counter-intuitive -- at least, to me -- I thought it referred to having my browser record the username/password pair for the site; instead, it seems to over-ride the built-in/default time-out setting). Go ahead... try it.
