Thread: Search Function

Since the domain change I have been unable to use the quick search function as it all seems Linked to google and the previous domain name (place) instead of the current one (palace).
Is there a work around for this? Do I need to do something on my end? Can this be fixed somehow? Am I missing something?
I have tried clearing my search history/cookies and attempted to manually switch place to palace but it doesn’t seem to be working. The advanced search function is working though.

Looks like we are limited to forum search after the name change.
It is working fine.

My understanding is that it is possible to update the address in the search results if the registrant of the old domain cooperates.
Otherwise it will be rebuilt by Google and will be useful again but that takes some time.

in the url chance "place" to "palace" and that has worked for me. Might not work on all of them though

Thanks but this hasn’t been working for me at all. As I said in OP I tried to manually change it but to no avail. It’s ok though. A small inconvenience and I can still use the advanced function.

Ah, it has worked on some for me and others it just takes me to home page.
