Thanked: 1Thank you lynn
I wanted to say thank you to Lynn for the great videos on straight razor shaving. If it wasn't for those I would have given up. But unlike on other people's profiles there is no option to message him to maybe get more advice and help since he lives in the same city as me.

You can always contact Lynn's retail business Straight Razor Designs: https://straightrazordesigns.com/pages/contact-us
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Lynn helped me immensely with his videos and DVD as I began. Good, no-nonsense, and practical advise. The beginning of his video where he showed some of his immense collection of razors helped me to get into this rabbithole as well!
I still am of the opinion that anyone beginning should go with his original DVD and learn the pyramid on a 4/8 Norton to start. SO much you can teach yourself from there!

Yes I do agree if it wasn’t for Lynn I definitely would not have been able to continue with my journey to shave with a straight razor.
So I definitely want to say thank you to Lynn for what he has done for a lot of people and the entire straight razor community.
RogerHave a great shave.

Yeah, that's how a lot of us started. I had dinner with Lynn and his wife at Kevin/Hidestoart's house (he's gone now too it seems) after the Asheville, NC meetup a few years ago. Lynn went to great lengths to try to bring together the SRP and B&B factions that were at this fairly large gathering, and gave some good honing demos to boot. Best hobby-related gathering I've ever been a part of.

OK let me say this for everyone, we all owe Lynn a debt of gratitude for his efforts to popularize straight shaving and his efforts to assist many of us all along the way in our journey.
