    Default Viewing images

    I’m having trouble viewing images on some posts. It shows attachment but no images, any buddy have an idea why I can see some images on some posts and not others.

    Browser sensitive I found out fire fox is the problem thanks for coming by tho.

    I use firefox and dont have a problem unless the image was ppsted so long ago that its lost. Or removed.

    I use Firefox too.
    Same as Jerry, no problems unless the post is pretty old.

    Hmm, if you can point me to an example of a post that shows images in one browser but not in another I can see if there's something that can be improved.

    Off the top of my head at one point the major browsers decided to force people into slightly better security and started flagging unencrypted content e.g. links that start with http:// instead of https://

    I remember that we settled on some some sort of a compromise at a time and I had most of the old http:// links automatically updated to https:// , but I don't quite remember the details. I have some fuzzy memory of doing something for graceful degradation, i.e. it wasn't a kill-them-all at the time, so it's possible there are some remnants of that and as it's been several years the issue probably can benefit from a revisit.
