So I currently have my first razor listed in the Classified section and was dismayed to find the number of people who viewed, but did not buy, my razor. I sold a few razors in the old BST and they all sold within a half hour so I whined about this to my wife. She used her computer to look at my listing in the Classified section and she discovered something interesting...

Every time that she clicked on a razor listing, looked at the ad, and then went back, she found the the view count had increased by three views. I thought that this was just a coincidence that she had viewed the razor at the same time as a couple other people but she did it repeatedly and each time the view count went up by three.

In the end we discovered a three things:

1. If using the Safari browser, each click of the ad increases the view count by three.
2. If using the Firefox browser, each click of the ad increases the view count by two.
3. Most importantly, if you repeatedly go back to the ad, you will each time increase the view count. I recall in the old BST that this was not the case. I assume that some sort of cookie was used to recognize that the same computer was doing the viewing to prevent multiple counts from a single viewer. This is apparently not the case in the Classifieds.

Anyone want to fix this?
