    Default Chat Problem

When I try to get to chat I keep getting this message. Where do I get this version of Jave?

Sorry, but you need a Java 1.4.x enabled browser to use PJIRC.

    Sun Developer Network (SDN) Downloads

Alternatively, install Firefox and have it install Java for you. Better solution in any event.

Well I downloaded firefox and now chat works. I didnt realize Firefox was a totally new browser, lots of features I like here . Like Holding the ctrl key then hitting + symbol to increase the size of the page, I am going to transfer all my fav places to this browser and forget about IE

Thank you sir, I have already started customizing and adding "Add ons" once you get used to it , doesnt look much different than the IE browser, but it works much better.

Glad it so easily works for some. Since the upgrades to the SRP, I cannot get to the chat location from my Internet Explorer. Sixgun provided a link a while ago, but I didn't file it and now am unable to get in. No big deal as I generally don't have many insights, but I remain mystified why the chat key on the top of the main page won't allow both the computer cognoscenti and idiots like myself equal access.

    Whine out.
