you need to be member for 3 months and have at least 100 posts to be able to post in the classifieds.
All is explained in the forum rules.

so you need only 28 more posts to get to 100, should not be hard to post a few comments here and there

Please don't think it's anything against newer members or less talkative ones. It's a safeguard to prevent spammers from signing on as members, then spamming our classifieds with their junk.(and it used to happen a lot)

The upload problem could be due to the picture size. Try resizing it down to 1024x768

    The splashman is right.

You only need 50 posts to sell in the classifieds if you've been a member for 6 months

I ran into that problem initally, and the error doesn't help much. Resize as said above, and you will do fine.

You don't actually have to hit a pixel size maximum, just a file size maximum. I don't know what it is off the top of my head, but I upload the same images to my website as I do to the classifieds, and those are very large (pixel wise). Typically, they are around 350kb, and I've never had a problem with them. If you are going to resize, I find MS paint the eaisest to use. Open the image in paint, hit ctrl + W, enter the same % in each field, hit enter, and save (or save as).

Yeah.. But as long as your not trying to upload a bmp or something, i have found that size jpg seems to do the trick.
