Default Poll; How Do You Surf SRP Forums ?

I am always hitting "new posts" to refresh the overall forum page. On occasion I go to the specific forums I'm interested in just to make sure I didn't miss one. How do y'all surf the forum ? Inquiring minds want to know.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I used to go to the individual forums, but just go to new posts now. I see a far bigger chunk of the forum as a result.

Well, I'm a narcissist, so the first thing I do is search for posts by HNSB to see if there have been any replies.

Then I browse the new posts.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

I used to click on new posts, until the thanks button complete with bug was introduced. Then I began using the UserCP button so that I could see whether there were any new replies in any of my subscribed threads and forums. After I dumped all my thread subscriptions my browsing habits became somewhat erratic. I find myself following rabbit trails from links in chat or google or custom VB searches. I kept my forum subscriptions though, so generally the first place I look when I go to SRP is the site comments and suggestions forum

oh yeah and I like to make quick runs through the social groups as well as the classifieds although I guess those are technically not the forum

I go to new posts all the time. Occasionally I'll browse by forum if something catches my eye or I'm reading up on a particular topic like honing for example.

It's usually the New Posts for me, unless I'm searching for a specific thread/topic.

    Cheers,

RSS feed in Emacs/Gnus with adaptive scoring. Then Firefox with FfvB to kill everything that looks uninteresting. Afterwards, the new posts button.

New posts clicker here. Sometimes browse the hones and honing sections for tips, and the custom built and restorations section to see the latest eyecandy.
