I click the SRP logo first and read all of those posts. Then I use the Quick Links drop down and select "subscribed threads" and check for updates to those posts. Finally, I click the new posts and see what else I may have missed.
i go by the front page mostly. I also check out certain forums that I have an interest in at the moment. Customs & Restorations, the Workshop, Show and Tell are the most frequent
Sometimes I'll go back to a post I've been keeping an eye on or I'll browse to find info I'm looking for if I have a question.
For the most part I stick to certain sections and don't read others unless I'm researching something. The exceptions are if something on the "main" forums page catches my eye or someone links to a thead (which hoggie did for this one).
My usual order
First: User control panel (also narcissistic:))
Second: New posts
Third: Forum topics
Fourth: Lurk on my friends' pages to see what interesting threads they've posted to that I've missed
New posts and them individual forums is my preferred way of surfing SRP
I go to specific forums of my choice but this thread has made me think that I should make more use of the new posts feature so, a few days from now, that may well have changed.
