No more email notifications?
I've noticed that I no longer receive email notifications on subscribed threads I double checked and I've got the instant notification set up still and my email address is still in the system.
was the email notifications causing problems and turned off or is this a new bug?
Thanks.

Mine works fine most of the time. Lately it clumps a bunch of posts together, but normally I get them one way or another.

AFAIK subscription email is working. Subscription emails are sent in batches... this is likely the bunching you see as they accumulate in a wait queue until there are 10.

well I came on and had to visit all subscribed threads, there were more than 10 to see what responses were there. hadn't received a notice at all that any responses had been made.
I'm not seeing any batching evidence at all. I'm just not seeing notifications, period. no matter how many threads have responses. Each thread is set for instant notification. what has been happening in the past is that as soon as someone replies to a single thread (or shortly thereafter) I'd get a notice. at the end of the day I'd have anywhere from 5 to 15 notifications in my email.
Now I'm getting zero, I have to check my "subscribed threads" section to see the ones that have responses.
This is a definite change from what things used to be like and certainly not a product of putting notifications in queue until I get at least 10.
I'm not getting email notifications period.

Glen,
I'll run some tests (basically, I'll subscribe to some threads) to see if it's working.
BTW, there is only one queue... it accumulates everyone's subscription emails and when there are 10 it routes them off to the mail server... some will go to you and some to others.
It's also possible that your ISP or mail software has blocked mail from the forum (thinking it's spam)?
