One of them is the reviews - I counted 2 or 3 real contributions since I made them work in the new system. Yes, I know new members cannot post reviews, but what demotivates me is the lack of reviews from the old members with good experience as their reviews are typically of better quality.
And as long as there is very little interest in contributing with the reasonably good system we already have in place, I have very little interest in improving that system. At this point such improvement is probably hundred times more time consuming than writing a review, so to me it's a matter of pretty simple math - I am not willing to just spend 100 times more effort than anybody else is willing to spend. When everybody's actions indicate that something has very little value, I view it the same way.
BTW, something similar could happen with say the Wiki - if the SRP community can't find in itself the desire/ability to maintain and improve it, there shouldn't be a surprise when some day it just gets killed.
