    Nice razor. Good staging. Going to have a friend with a nicer camera than my point and shoot take some pics for me.

    To be honest, I have a very nice camera--at least it was in the day. My lens are still great by today's standards. But reasonably priced point and shoots are capable of taking outstanding still life photographs. My wifes camera cost less than one of my lenses and it takes outstanding photographs in many situations. For sports or action shots, that's a different story.

    Get your composition and lighting (nice diffuse light, e.g., on a lightly cloudy day) and you don't need to spend big bucks on cameras anymore.
