    Default Ah, the advertising

Seems almost sacrilegious. A Gillette fusion proglide ad keeps popping up. It says "Millions of guys can't be wrong." Somehow, SRP doesn't strike me as a place with guys who want to be like everybody else.

Free money without much chance of actually getting a customer. Take if they give it.

Yeah, I noticed that too. No doubt some auto system flagged this razor site as prime advertising real estate, but most likely the extreme lack of clicks from this site will lead to them moving to greener pastures, or hairier faces, some time soon.

Probably the google add script (they do pay the site owner for their displays and that most likely helps keep this free site, free).

If you're not sending a check to Lynn each month, you 'could' click on those ads, if nothing else to see where they go... every time you click on one the site account makes a little money.

It is just the Google scripts, as Utopian said.
Every once in a while I'll click on them just to see what's going on in that part of the shaving world.
Nothing much!! But at least the site gets some cash from it.

As to the "millions of people...." thing, that has to be the most useless advertising slogan in history.
Replace People with Flies and Gillette with.... ah, you know the rest

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Utopian didn't say that, I did, but really... there are probably millions that shave with those multibladed wonders of technology... I've got 14 of them in a drawer and they do BBS my face - as I'm sure they BBS millions of faces on Earth.

Just think if those faces ever discovered a real wet shave...

    1) We'd never find anything at the pawn/antique shops.
    2) There wouldn't be a good brush or puck of soap within a hundred miles.

At the end of the session... click those ads a couple of times and add a few pennies to SRP.

My apologies, you are quite right, I mistakenly gave him credit for your statement

No, I think you are wrong, if millions of people did discover a real wet shave, we would see a lot of new outfits providing tons of new gear, good and bad. A surge in manufacturers wouldn't be a bad thing.
Besides, I never find anything in pawn shops or antique stores anyway

It would be bad for the badger population of this world, but the market would find a solution to that too.
Remember, millions of people used to do this all the time, why couldn't that be done again?

I agree, click away, all the more security for keeping this place alive.
